Morning comes
As the deer
Rivers of Babylon
just believe
One in time

"I wanted to create a CD where the arrangements were simple and uncluttered, something that was true to the way I play, not only in a live situation, but also at two in the morning when it's just an acoustic guitar and me. I wanted there to be space to give the songs room to breath, because sometimes the notes that aren't played are as important as the notes that are. It's this simplicity and this room to breath that gives the music the ability to connect with the listener in a more direct way.

I've spent a lot of time going back and forth between what kind of album to make, would I make a Christian record, an instrumental record, a rock record, and various other options. The kinds of music I like are quite varied although I think that a lot of what's on "Just Believe" is fairly representative of my writing and playing style. A lot of the songs on this recording were written some time ago before I became ill, they've been waiting around wanting to be recorded for some time, to a certain extent I needed to record them to be able to close a chapter in my life and to move on with where I'm going as a songwriter and an artist.

The music on this album is a snapshot of where I was at that time, someone dealing with the amount of lost time stolen by illness and trying to make sense of it, looking for answers and looking for help, looking for someone to lean on. I hope that anyone experiencing hard times will find the music on this CD helpful." - Andrew
